ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work with the native apps team within the larger product organization, to focus on developing and maintaining innovative and high performing mobile applications, keep us at the forefront of mobile gaming, and ultimately help us reach our passion of creating “The greatest iGaming experience”.

The Native Apps Domain Architect is a senior architect role where you will be driving the native apps architectural strategy and ensuring it aligns with the business requirements. You will be a part of an architectural group and collaborate with other architects and senior developers in a cross collaborative environment. We do expect you to write code where needed to guide the developers in the team, and to ensure that our mobile applications meet business requirements, are performant and engaging for our customers.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Focus on the mobile apps for LeoVegas brands such as BetMGM, LeoVegas, BetUK and Expekt
• Contribute to launching new brands and brand expansions into new territories
• Long term vision of the mobile apps with a focus on product and user experience
• Ensuring that the mobile apps maintains an overall technical architecture that is robust, scalable and efficient
• Guide the development of high quality React native applications for both iOS and Android platforms
• We see that you have experience in leading other engineers and the ability to understand the overall picture. Communicating complex technical challenges for non-technical stakeholders.
• Represent your domain in technical discussions and solution designs with architect peers and stakeholders
• Educating developers in best practices and architecture principles
• Reviewing developers work and provide relevant feedback

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Minimum of 4 years of working as an architect
• Minimum of 3 years of working as a mobile app developer
• Experience in mentoring other developers
• Good knowledge and understanding of iOS or android development
• Good understanding of architectural principles in scalable, highly concurrent, and fault-tolerant enterprise systems
• Clear Communication - being able to adapt depending on who you have in front of you

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with React Native
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Experience with Typescript
