We are looking for an additional colleague to join as a Quality and Environmental Engineer.
Essity Edet Mill, with 400 employees, produces approx. 100,000 tonnes of paper in the form of toilet and kitchen paper per year. We are characterized by a modern organization, which through commitment and competence manufactures products in a sustainable and innovative way. 86% of the paper produced at Edet Bruk is based on recycled fiber and only 14% is new fiber. After replacing natural gas with biogas, Edet Bruk is from 2022 the world's first large-scale paper producer to have completely fossil-free production. The factory consists of several departments such as pulp processing, steam plant, papermaking, conversion and logistics.

About the role
As a Quality and Environmental Engineer, you will work closely with production departments and other organizations to develop and continuously improve our quality and environmental work. Furthermore, you will be responsible for complaint and specification management as well as the administration of chemicals regarding both legislation and internal handling. You will have contact with process engineers, department managers in the factory, and suppliers. Conducting internal audits in the quality and environmental area is also an important part of the work. In this role, you handle both legal requirements from authorities and internal requirements. The work is mainly carried out on-site where you report to the Quality and Environmental Manager at the mill and collaborate with your team of four people.
