What’s in it for you?
You will work in a team that is responsible to provide Manufacturing Engineering with the right tools & methods to visualize and simulate product and plant data that enables virtual builds and verifications. The team consists of business analysts as well as developers driving end-to-end view of the solution in close collaboration with business owners, stakeholders, key-user and our broad Manufacturing Engineering community to deliver excessive outcome with high value. The team is located both in Gothenburg and India.
The Manufacturing & Plant Engineering cluster is a part of Supply Chain and Manufacturing Digital, Volvo Cars. We deliver capabilities for Manufacturing Engineering. The cluster consists of cross-functional teams with end-to-end responsibility for operation, development, methods/processes, support and education.
What you will do
* Contribute to all phases of the application lifecycle from definition, architecture, design through implementation, debugging, testing and support
* Provide technical expertise in mapping raw requirements to PLM/Teamcenter framework
* Build technical solutions based on the knowledge of architectural concepts and designs
* Investigating new technologies to improve and optimize the application
* Maintain and support technical solutions for operation
* Create and maintain solution documentation
What you will bring
* University degree or equivalent working experience
* At least six years of experience working within PLM
* Deep technical knowledge of Siemens Tecnomatix suite
* Thorough understanding of Teamcenter architecture and data model
* Experience of PLM application landscape
* Experience from working with Simulation software like Process Simulate, ABB Robot Studio
* Fluent in English with strong communication skills
