Join a dynamic urology department in central Sweden, serving a population of approximately 285,000 residents.

This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a wide range of urological conditions in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. You’ll be part of a skilled team focused on providing high-quality patient care, with the support of specialists, resident doctors and a larger surgical department.

Requirements:

• Holds an EU-recognized specialist certification in urology
• Extensive experience and independence in transurethral surgery
• Strong communication skills in English and a willingness to learn Swedish
• Excellent collaboration skills and adaptability to team settings
• Ability to mentor and supervise resident doctors as part of team development

Your role:

As a specialist urologist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting patient assessments and managing various urological conditions
• Working across outpatient clinics, surgical departments, and inpatient wards
• Performing surgeries, including advanced transurethral procedures
• Mentoring resident doctors and providing guidance to colleagues in urology

Work hours and flexibility:
