Financial and Legal Reporting Specialist with Focus on Sustainability and EU Taxonomy

Work Supply is seeking a skilled and experienced professional on behalf of our client for a newly created position that combines financial consolidation, sustainability reporting, and legal expertise within the context of the EU Taxonomy and upcoming regulations.
This role requires in-depth knowledge of both financial reporting and legal compliance.
We are looking for a dedicated specialist who can strengthen our client’s ability to navigate complex reporting and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Consolidation and Reporting: Ensure accurate consolidation and reporting of the group's financial data.
- Sustainability and Compliance Reporting: Take a leading role in implementing EU Taxonomy and CSRD requirements, with a focus on making complex regulations understandable and actionable.
- Legal and Financial Advisory: Provide guidance and collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with new EU regulations.
- Cross-Organizational Collaboration: Engage and cooperate with stakeholders at all levels to support a holistic approach to reporting and compliance.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, controlling, and/or auditing, preferably within complex, global organizations.
- A relevant degree in finance, law, or a combination thereof, such as a Master’s in Finance, Law, Graduate Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the legal aspects of the EU Taxonomy and CSR regulations; experience with sustainability reporting is an advantage.
- Proactive and structured approach to project management, with the ability to maintain an overview in complex implementation projects.
