ABOUT THE POSITION AND THE COMPANY

Biltema Nordic Services is a service company within Biltema with various departments that together deliver a complete solution for the department stores' assortment and operations. The IT department in Helsingborg provides systems and digital solutions in collaboration with Biltema's other companies within the group for our Nordic markets.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tester to join our team. As a Senior Tester, you will work closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through efficient testing strategies and risk assessments. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in test automation, strong collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to improving quality standards across the company.

EXAMPLES OF WORK TASKS

• Collaborate with development teams to assess risks and mitigate issues during the development lifecycle.
• Design and execute automated scripted tests using Playwright and other testing tools.
• Evaluate test results and create detailed defect reports for development teams.
• Manage and maintain test plans, test suites, and defect tracking within various projects.
• Develop and update test-related documentation and improve existing test processes.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by automated tests.
• Assist in enhancing company-wide quality plans and strategies.
• Assist in evaluating suitable test tools.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in test automation.
• Experience with Azure and working in cloud environments.
• Strong background in test automation and exploratory testing techniques.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation during testing.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mentoring skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of the retail industry is a plus.
