We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our CRM team at SEB Embedded. Become a part of our journey, using the latest technology to ensure the best support for companies using our Banking as a Service services. We work closely with the other product teams to ensure our customers get an overall great experience of our products and services.

As experts in software development, our team possesses deep knowledge and expertise in building robust solutions. Our tech stack is fully on GCP and Kubernetes, and we harness the power of Java 17 and Spring Boot to build our backend services and React in frontend.

About our team

We are a cross functional team consisting of frontend engineers, backend engineers, UX, and product. We believe that curiosity helps us build deeper connections to our team members as well as to our products and the problems we are trying to solve. What you will do

• Developing and maintaining a scalable solutions in React, typescript, NodeJS
• Design and implement new user-facing features.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate solutions.
• Full life cycle management for the product/service portfolio.
• Investigate design approaches, propose and evaluate usage of new technologies and analyze technical feasibility of different solutions.
• Working with various projects, back office systems and public website heavily based on React.

Key ingredients to succeed in this role:

• Experience in some of the following - JavaScript, CSS, HTML, React, Typescript, NodeJS, State management tools (for example Redux, Jotai), Static site generators (for example GatsbyJS or NextJS).
• Experience in working with cloud-hosted web services.
• Experience or interest in building, deploying and maintaining scalable codebases.
• Experience in REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience in testing in Cypress and CI with GitLab and interest in more/other testing frameworks.
• Build solid front-end solutions that are easy to integrate with other systems/technologies.
• Understanding of design patterns and writing reusable, modular code.
• Eager to learn and explore new technologies.

Nice to have:

• Experience with TailwindCSS and responsive design.
• Kubernetes.
• GCP services, App Engine, GKE, Redis.
• Front end logging frameworks/libraries, (sentry, winston) and GCP integration.
• Helm and terraform.
