Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Application Engineer with a focus on diagnostics and automation to join our innovative team.
In this role, you will lead the software development process for embedded applications, spanning requirement analysis, software design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
You’ll work within specialized technical domains, applying your skills to drive efficient diagnostics and automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Development:
- Break down and analyze requirements, translating them into actionable development tasks.
- Design, document, implement, and verify embedded software applications with a focus on diagnostics and automation.
- Perform rigorous testing and ensure software quality and readiness for release.
System Engineering Leadership:
- Lead system engineering efforts within the diagnostics and automation domains, contributing to high-quality and timely project outcomes.
- Integrate and align contributions from cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project execution and smooth releases.
Technical Roadmapping and Project Involvement:
- Focus on the early phases of development, shaping technical roadmaps and laying out strategic plans.
- Network across teams and locations, fostering collaboration and sharing expertise to drive continuous improvement in diagnostics and automation.
Continuous Learning and Development:
- Hone your technical skills and broaden your understanding of system-wide processes.
- Take initiative in self-directed learning, advancing your expertise in embedded systems, diagnostics, and automation.
Experience:
- 2-5 years in embedded software development, with exposure to diagnostics and automation preferred.
Skills:
- Self-sufficient, capable of managing and prioritizing tasks independently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with an innovative and proactive approach to learning.
- Demonstrated potential for long-term growth within embedded systems, diagnostics, and automation.
