In Battery Production we have installed high volume series production of Battery packs, Modules, two prototype lines for batteries and a line for the series production of VCB cables. We are in a phase where we train and build competence to manufacture Battery packs, Modules and cabling for tomorrow's e-mobility products.
As a part of Traton, Scania is together with MAN and International motor creating a strong cross-brand network of battery assembly production units to be able to introduce new products as well as meet the needs from the market. Therefore we are looking for dedicated and experienced Senior Logistics engineers that enjoys working with challenges and varied demands and wants to be a part of Traton’s and Scania's journey to leading the production business to new heights.
We are looking for four resources to strengthen our team
The logistics engineer for equipment will be at the forefront of designing and procuring cutting-edge equipment that supports logistics flows and storages in global factory sites. You will lead efforts to write and manage Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ), ensuring that all equipment procured aligns with the company’s long-term strategy for planned future battery factories.
The Senior Logistics Engineer - Line Feeding plays a crucial role designing in-house material flow for production of batteries, setting up the blueprint strategy and working collaboratively with production managers to ensure smooth operations across multiple factories in three different countries. You will use your creativity and expertise to develop and design efficient line-feeding processes that integrate robotics and automation, making a tangible impact on our global production.
The Senior Logistics Engineer - Factory Feeding is responsible for designing and dimensioning factory material flows, capacity and equipment required for reception and departure of goods, setting up the blueprint strategy for multiple factory sites in different countries. This role is essential in shaping the end-to-end material flow from external suppliers to production lines until the delivery of finished battery packs to our end customers.
This role ensures the seamless integration of logistics systems, material flows, and storage solutions, keeping in mind future scalability and technological advancements. You will work on logistics process optimization, from initial layout design to implementation, ensuring efficiency, flexibility, and alignment with the company’s global strategy.
Main Responsibilities
You would belong to the logistics development group MELED with logistic developers, project manager and logistics PD coordinators. The team members are highly self-motivated and happily to share their experience from the various areas within logistics. We help each other and continuously improve our cross-functional working methods to secure our processes.
Your Profile

We are looking for you who have engineering degree or have completed Scania's technician training and with proven, preferably at least 4 years of experience, within logistics development projects, not only running established processes. We work in an international environment and the working language is English. Fluency in spoken and written English is thus a basic requirement and Swedish is a merit.
