Join us on our journey where you can make a difference!   Main activities and responsibilities:  We are looking for a true engineering ambassador, able to challenge the status quo and think outside of the box. Your ideas will revolutionize the way we think about and work within engineering. Your primary responsibilities will be to collaborate with colleagues in developing methods and processes to ensure that the right technology is implemented to secure cost-effective and flexible production today and for years to come. You will work cross-functionally to synchronize engineering methods and reinvestment needs. You will actively participate in and drive the development of production methods alongside production engineers, technicians, managers, and other great co-workers cross-functionally to find the best solutions, both within the network at the Umeå factory and at other Volvo production units.  Who are you?  We believe you are a person who can go down into details without losing the holistic view. We are looking for somebody with an analytic mindset and courage to challenge the status quo. Personal credibility and integrity are crucial characteristics for this position. Our new teammate will have shown a winning attitude and a great persona, in combination with a strong record of accomplishment and references.  Required knowledge/experience:  * BSc or MSc in engineering or equivalent.  * Recently graduated with a maximum of two years of prior working experience.  * Fluent in English (both spoken and written).  * Proficient in Swedish.  * Possesses a valid work permit for Sweden (if not a citizen).  * Driver license for car. * Demonstrated interest or experience in automation/ Technology development.  * Previous experience in a production organization is advantageous.  International experience is a plus.  Last Application date: 27th of November.
