OHB Sweden is a leading Swedish supplier of space systems. We develop, build, test and commission satellites and subsystems for space missions in, for example, communication, earth observation and space research for institutional and commercial customers within and outside Europe.

Today we are around 150 people and continue to growth and searching for someone to joinour dynamic team and play a crucial role in the production of cutting-edge spacecrafts and propulsion systems. As a Work Preparator, you will be the professional link between various departments, including design/construction and the projects as end customers. This interdisciplinary role requires excellent communication and technical expertise.

Your Tasks:

• Serve as the liaison between the design and production teams.
• Collaborate closely with the production team and support MAIT with hands-on tasks.
• Prepare documentation and procedures.
• Design production and ground support equipment.
• Prepare manufacturing and assembly kits.
• Actively develop and improve processes.
• Design and prepare workstations.

Your Qualifications:

• Professional experience in work preparation, ideally in the aerospace industry.
• Experience with CAD and/or harness design.
• Strong quality and cost awareness.
• Proficiency in common MS-Office tools.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Enjoy working with very sensitive components.
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Legal authorization to work in Sweden.

Advantageous:

• Experience working in clean rooms.
• Experience handling highly sensitive and valuable products.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards and requirements.
• Crimping certificate.
