ValueOne is looking for an Operational Buyer IM&S for a consultant assignment at a manufacturing company in Gothenburg. This assignment must be filled as soon as possible and lasts for six months.

The Role

As an Operational Buyer, you will be responsible for supporting operational and tactical tasks related to indirect procurement. The role also includes managing supplier relationships, collecting data for tenders, and ensuring high service levels for internal and external stakeholders.

Key tasks include:

  • Executing operational and tactical procurement tasks
  • Managing administrative duties related to supplier management.
  • Supporting negotiations and ensuring compliance with procurement processes.
  • Evaluating suppliers in collaboration with business functions and category managers. 
Experience and Competencies

We are looking for candidates with strong analytical and strategic skills, along with demonstrated negotiation abilities. Experience working with the Spectra procurement system and advanced Excel skills are essential, along with expertise in supplier management. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in procurement, preferably within a regulated industry. A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Purchasing is preferred. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage.
