All about the role:
We are looking for a Product Manager for D2C Fulfillment in our Consumer Direction Interaction (CDI) Experience Organisation Team.
As Product Manager D2C Fulfillment you will be responsible for driving the development of our commercial fulfillment capabilities across EU and APAC.
To be successful in this role you will need to find a fine balance between strategic thinking and a hands-on attitude, while being a D2C Supply Chain at scale champion in a company with a strong heritage of B2B business model.
For this challenge you need a high affinity to business transformation, D2C business model, technology and data.
As the Product Manager, you will play key role in defining and driving the product strategy, ensuring it meets the needs of our consumers and internal users.
Additionally, you will be responsible for directly leading a team of Product Owners located in Europe and APAC and indirectly leading a wid egroupd of Supply Chain Subject Matter experts in supply chain, OTD and warehousing.
In this role, you will be reporting to Head of Product – Digital Commerce.
What you'll do:
- You own the D2C Fulfillment product area which includes warehouse processes and consumer return flows with the objective to optimize operations and secure great a consumer experience.
The mission for D2C fulfillment is to launch consumer centric experiences that drives commercial growth in our D2C channel
- Product Strategy and Vision
- Responsible for the definition and communication of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Prioritize product features, integrations, performance, security and scalability
- Lead the OKRs definition for the product area and contribute to those of the whole organization.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify the needs and pain points of our consumers and internal users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights to refine and prioritize product features and enhancements.
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Craft and drive roadmaps that deliver business outcomes
- Be accountable to deliver an excellent set of products and experiences in production
- Work closely with the Engineering Managers, Engineers, Product Owners, and Product Domain to translate the product vision into detailed product requirements and specifications.
- Drive the end-to-end product development process, including planning, execution, and release management.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the products functionality and usability.
- Make your product as self-serviceable as possible by applying a diverse set of techniques, e.g., documentation, trainings, coaching, key user concepts, communities.
- Measure the performance of your product to retrieve actions around user adoption or improvement.
- Ensure that your products are adopted by your target users, improved or sunset.
- People Leadership
- Lead a team of Product Owners, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
- Set clear objectives and clear results with your team and align with the people around your team.
- Build a relationship of trust and respect with all stakeholders which are affected by your product domain.
- Act as the central point of contact for all product-related queries and provide timely updates to stakeholders on product status and roadmap.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- A Product Manager with 5+ years of experience in a user-centric agile environment at scale in D2C Fulfillment
- Strong understanding in digital product lifecycle, D2C fulfilment practices and high-level software architectures
- A digitally native leader, commercially-savvy, capable of translating trade-offs choices into business value, and making decisions based on data, scalability and expected business return (balancing short and long term).
- Solid experience in modern product management practices such as Scrum, Product Road mapping, Product Discovery, OKRs
- Strong understanding of digital product lifecycle, UX design practices, and high-level software architectures.
- Proven experience in leading multiple cross-functional product teams with product managers, engineers, and designers, within bi-weekly and quarterly ceremonies, and facilitating cross-functional alignments across leadership and teams
- Business acumen, and scalable experience evolution in production are natural parts of your responsibilities.
- Excellent communicator towards engineering and design leadership in the product area as well as the CDI leadership team; fluent in both strategic planning, build time and continuous delivery in production.
- Ability to speak D2C, Supply Chain, technology and data lingo and adjust use of language to different audiences.
- 3+ years experience in agile working environments.
- 3+ years of tech leadership experience with one ore many of the following: D2C Supply Chain, Digital Product Management
- Fluent in English
