Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Business Development, and Sourcing teams to manage supplier quality requirements, onboarding, and development effectively.
- Lead supplier qualification, part/process qualification, supplier auditing, issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance supplier performance.
- Ensure supplier compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements through effective monitoring processes.
- Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive quality improvements, minimize the cost of quality, and support engineering changes, new product introductions, and transfers.
- Execute Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans with suppliers to address non-conformance issues.
- Implement the Supplier Audit Plan and conduct technical reviews of suppliers when needed.
What you bring:
- Strong problem-solving abilities, including leading root cause investigations and CAPA plans with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in supplier technical development or supplier quality management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Expertise in industrial process control and process qualification for quality-critical aspects.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field, with experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality assurance.
Meritorious:
- Auditor experience in both on-site and remote/virtual environments.
- Knowledge of QMS tools, continuous improvement methodologies, and familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma practices.
- Experience in supplier quality engineering, quality assurance, or manufacturing, ideally within the biotech or pharmaceutical industries.
