We are now looking for a Business Director for Hedin Electric Mobility AB –the distributor of BYD (Build Your Dreams) passenger cars in Sweden. As a distributor for BYD, Hedin Electric Mobility is responsible for the distribution of vehicles, spare parts, and accessories to authorised dealers

Responsibilities

As Business Director, you will be responsible for leading and developing the overall business strategy for HedinElectric Mobility. Your role will involve ensuring the company's profitability, driving business development, and ensuring sustainable growth. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize sales, profitability, and market share.
  • Ensuring that budgets and financial targets are met.
  • Analyzing market trends and identifying new business opportunities to drive innovation and growth.
  • Leading and managing teams across the company's various business areas, ensuring business goals are achieved.
  • Developing and strengthening relationships with key customers and business partners.
  • Acting as a strategic partner to the COO of Import Operations and the management team by providing insights and guidance on the company’s future business direction.
  • Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure the company’s business goals align with the overall strategy.
Key Competencies/Abilities
  • At least 7–10 years of experience in strategic leadership in a business-driven role.
  • Strong ability to drive business strategies and create profitable growth.
  • Negotiation and business skills to handle complex agreements and partnerships.
  • Analytical ability to interpret market data and develop solutions that drive the business forward.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with experience working with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
