We are looking for a senior Automation Engineer with expertise in programming safety systems. If you are passionate about creating safe and efficient automation solutions and thrive in a consulting environment, this is the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Safety Systems: Design, configure, and program safety systems in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
• PLC Programming: Develop and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs to integrate safety systems effectively.
• Safety System Design: Collaborate with clients to create and implement robust safety system architectures.
• Performance Level/SIL Calculations: Conduct calculations to determine Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and ensure compliance with relevant machinery directives.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of safety system configurations, programming, and performance assessments for client reference.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering.
• Education: Relevant educational background in automation, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in PLC programming and safety equipment.
  • Solid understanding of machinery directives and safety regulations.
  • Experience with performance level calculations and SIL assessments.
  • A certification in functional or machinery safety is highly desirable.
