We are looking for a skilled and experienced Hardware Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and development of hardware components, particularly within the automotive or transportation industry.
This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, supplier management, and ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
The engineer will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of hardware projects, from concept to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize hardware components, ensuring integration with electrical and software systems.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software and electrical engineering, to ensure the seamless development of products.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry safety standards, including ISO 26262 (functional safety) and other high-voltage safety regulations.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure high-quality deliverables using processes such as APQP.
- Troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of hardware systems.
- Employ a structured and methodical approach to manage and deliver complex engineering tasks efficiently and with high quality.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of five years' experience in hardware development, preferably in the automotive, transportation, or related industries.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of hardware and electrical systems design and integration.
- Familiarity with industry standards, such as ISO 26262 and high-voltage safety requirements.
- Proven experience in working with complex hardware components and systems.
- Additional Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and apply structured development processes such as APQP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured approach to complex technical challenges.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with automotive industry processes and practices is a plus.
