Accounting Manager – Swedish Subsidiary - Factory Racing Europe AB (FXR)

About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager for the Swedish subsidiary of a North American-based company. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial management and reporting for the subsidiary, which operates in various European markets. The Accounting Manager will oversee the Swedish accounting system, ensuring alignment and reconciliation with the North American parent company's system. The successful candidate must be well-versed in Swedish financial regulations, and familiar with Swedish and European VAT reporting. The Accounting Manager will also manage Accounts Payable (AP) and assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
Responsibilities:
Manage VAT reporting and liabilities in wider European market.
Qualifications & Competencies:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification is strongly preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
· Strong knowledge of Swedish VAT and financial reporting regulations.
· Experience with month-end and year-end closings, as well as external audits.
· Fluency in both Swedish and English is required.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent knowledge of Swedish GAAP.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaborate with a global finance team.
· Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities.
· Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
