As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing our backend systems with a focus on scalability and performance.

Our backend platform is based on • NET microservices, primarily hosted in Azure. The core of our system is Corniche, an API-driven core banking system that handles all financial transactions.

We have a distributed tech team with colleagues in Borås, Stockholm, Gdansk, Malaga, and a partner in the Czech Republic. Our payment and card services are used in 13 European markets, and travel may be required.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and develop microservices and their architecture with .NET Core.
• Work with cloud-based solutions and ensure robust and reliable services using Azure Cloud Native.
• Ensure continuous integration, delivery, and deployment using Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Pipelines.
• Optimize systems and applications for high performance and reliability.
• Implement logging and observability using OpenTelemetry.
• Coach junior developers and actively participate in technical and architectural decisions.

We believe you have:

• At least 7 years of software development experience, particularly in C#, • NET Core, and Azure.
• Documented experience working with transaction-intensive systems and agile development processes.
• Deep competence in system architecture, with experience in designing and maintaining microservices.
• Experience working with distributed teams and integrating complex technical systems.
• Experience in e-commerce, payment solutions, or finance is a plus, as well as knowledge of systems like Corniche, Mambu, or similar.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
