GoClimate is founded on the belief that we can solve the climate crisis and is driven by our mission to make it so easy to act on stopping climate change that everyone can contribute to it.

We’re looking for a person to help us develop our tool for businesses which automatically turns financial data into actionable climate information.

In this job, you will

• work with the full lifecycle of our ML models for data extraction and classification
• be involved in everything from data cleanup and labeling to development and maintenance of new and existing ML models
• dive into data to explore and implement solutions that increase our system’s performance
• help thousands of companies with their sustainability work and make a huge positive impact on the planet
• use Python as your main programming language
• work in a cross-functional team that goes beyond just development

Since we’re a small team with flexible roles other responsibilities could be relevant to add to this position, depending on your areas of interest and experience.

We’re looking for someone preferably based in Stockholm, where the majority of our team members are located. Our team is currently split between Stockholm and Åre, Sweden.

Because of the way we work, we’re looking for a person who has:

• More than 2 years of experience of machine learning in production - preferably in Google Cloud and with Python but your general software experience and curiosity are more important than specific skills
• Strong Swedish skills - since most of the data we work with is in Swedish you need to be proficient in Swedish
• A strong interest and preferably experience in software development
• The ability to self-direct your work with our purpose in mind
• A preference for working as part of a team

To be a good fit for this position, we believe you are good or interested in:

• Growing your skillset together with your teammates by sharing knowledge and experience
• Sustainability - the data we classify and work with have different impacts on the environment, so an interest in why and how this works is very helpful for this role

We’re looking for someone that has experience in ML in production systems, but the right fit for the team and our mission is more important than specific previous experience.
