Du kommer att arbeta ute på uppdrag hos någon av våra kunder. Tjänsten är en tillsvidareanställning på heltid, där du blir anställd som konsult hos oss på Envoi.

Uppdragsbeskrivning

Currently, the engine management software (EMS) consists of a fairly extensive amount of deviations, mainly linked to QAC and CUnit.

QAC warnings occur when parts of the code do not meet the standardized coding guidelines. Eliminating these warnings usually requires rewriting the parts of the code causing the warning to meet QAC guidelines. In addition to QAC warnings, there are also deviations related to C-Unit testing. These are test files used to verify the software at the module level. These warnings can occur for various reasons, due to, for example, test cases that are not fulfilled, unit test files that do not compile or that test files are completely missing. These deviations also need to be addressed. The consultants will be supervised by one (or more) experienced developers at ENEF who are responsible for the work plan. There will be a close dialogue with supervisors throughout the employment period. Parts of the work can be carried out remotely, but some office presence might be required. The consultants will work directly in the source code in the control system's Gitlab database. A basic overview of the file system's architecture will be given by the supervisor and the work plan will be presented. The goal is for the consultants to be able to quickly get started with the work and start implementing the measures that have been decided. As QAC alerts are more strictly linked to coding guidelines and usually do not require extensive functional knowledge, a more self-paced approach should be possible. Work linked to C-Unit testing requires greater functional knowledge and the consultants will therefore work closely with module owners to collect requirements and review the implementation and fulfillment together.EducationM.Sc.
