In this dynamic environment, the Senior Analytics Engineer will play a pivotal role in shaping the future success of our company.

The role

As our Senior Analytics Engineer, you will participate in and lead critical initiatives to transform our data infrastructure and establish best practices for data management across the organization. You'll be joining a small team consisting of yourself and a Machine Learning engineer and report directly to the CTO. In this role, you will serve as the analytics engineering expert, taking charge of our data infrastructure and processes.

Your primary focus will be tackling several key data-related challenges:

  1. Reorganizing our data interface to ensure consistency and establish a clear source of truth

  2. Improving data clarity and adherence to conventions within our BigQuery environment

  3. Contributing to developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy

  4. Optimizing our data query workflow to enhance efficiency and accuracy

  5. Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as Customer Success, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams, to help them access and utilize the data they need effectively

You

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering

  • Strong technical background in data architecture, ETL processes, and data modeling

  • Expertise in BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehousing solutions

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python

  • Experience in implementing data governance practices and improving data quality

  • Familiarity with machine learning workflows and how they integrate with data engineering processes

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Experience with Weld, Metabase, or other data management/visualization tools is a plus

The following qualifications are considered a plus:

  • A track record of successfully leading data-driven projects and initiatives

  • Experience in developing and executing data strategies aligned with business objectives

We offer a flexible working set up where we spend at least 3 days at our office in central Stockholm per week.
