Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior FPGA Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Collaborate as part of an agile team focused on various tasks, including investigation and pre-studies, solution creation, implementation, testing, verification, troubleshooting, and support.
- Engage in diverse technical fields, including hardware, embedded software/hardware, FPGA, application software, and lab work.
- Contribute to a versatile team environment where member competencies complement one another to achieve common goals.
- Participate in remote collaboration primarily via Microsoft Teams while maintaining strong communication skills.
- Expect occasional travel to Västerås and/or Ludvika, typically a few times a year.
What you bring:
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with VHDL and/or Verilog, along with familiarity with architectures and tools from Xilinx, Altera/Intel, and/or Lattice.
- Proficiency in HDL simulation and testing tools such as VUnit and ModelSim.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly GIT.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
Additional competencies that are advantageous include:
- Embedded software development experience in C/C++.
- Application software development skills in C#/.NET.
- Experience in test and verification processes.
- Hardware design and layout experience.
- Familiarity with CAN/Canalyzer and HiDraw.
- Previous experience working in a SAFe organization.
