About the role:As an ML Engineer at Hemnet, you will be a key part of our Data & ML Platform team, working alongside skilled engineers to develop, deploy, and maintain Machine Learning models that power our products. You will play a vital role in enhancing user experiences by leveraging your expertise in ML, collaborating closely with Product Development, and ensuring high-quality, scalable ML solutions for our systems.
What you will do:Collaborate with Product Development teams to deliver ML-enhanced use cases and product features.
Take ownership of the entire ML model lifecycle, from experimentation and training to deployment, monitoring, and re-training.
Design and develop ML models for large-scale, publicly available systems with high demands on performance, availability, and frequent updates.
Contribute to the improvement of MLOps processes and work on infrastructure that supports robust model deployment.
Coding background with proficiency in Python.
Experience in developing ML models for products deployed in high traffic systems.
Used to working with PR-based workflows or similar, including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML features into products.
We value experience from a Data Engineer or Data Scientist role in a mid-sized tech company. If you have experience from the property industry as well, we considerconsidere that a plus. Also, we’d be happy if you have experience with some or all of the technologies we’re using, or exploring:
BigQuery, GCP, and Vertex AI.
AWS, IaC (Terraform), and CI/CD.
LLMs, RAG, and vector databases.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-sufficiency: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage your own work.
Curiosity: Eagerness to explore new technologies and propose innovative solutions.
Collaboration: Excellent team collaboration skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Risk-taking: A willingness to experiment and accept occasional failure to drive innovation.
