We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to enhance our platform. The ideal candidate will be a strong technologist, a capable mentor, and an effective communicator. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in the development of the platform. You will make critical architectural decisions, choose appropriate technologies, and ensure the security, performance, and scalability of our solutions. Collaboration within a high-performing, cross-functional team is essential, as you will lead design discussions and agile processes to achieve timely, high-quality results.
Skills & Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5-10 years of professional experience in software development
- Proven architectural capabilities across multiple products
- Experience delivering and maintaining both on-device and cloud-based software
- Minimum five years of experience in Java (preferred) or C#
- Familiarity with Kotlin
- At least two years of experience with Node.js using JavaScript or TypeScript
- Basic knowledge of C++
- Strong debugging skills for complex distributed systems
- Experience with Linux systems
- Excellent communication skills in a hybrid work environment
- Deep understanding of functional programming and OOP methodologies
- Ability to break down large, complex problems into manageable tasks
- Experience in designing and maintaining customer-facing APIs
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Knowledge of chatbots or conversational interfaces
- Understanding of user interface design principles
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, or AWS)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies
- Knowledge of shell scripting and system management
- Experience with front-end frameworks
- Understanding of conversational systems
- Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning concepts
- Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases
