We are searching for a self-driven and detail-oriented person who will be responsible for ensuring that our company complies with all international trade regulations and laws. This role involves monitoring and managing compliance activities, conducting audits, and providing guidance on trade compliance matters.

You report to Planning and Fulfillment Manager and will a part of a network with TCO colleagues from other ABB units led by Country TCO.

Your role and responsibilities

• Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including export and import laws.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of trade compliance activities.
• Provide training and support to staff on trade compliance issues.
• Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to trade compliance.
• Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and ensure the company adapts accordingly.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, Law, or a related field or equivalent experience is preferable
• Experience in trade compliance or a related role is preferable
• It is preferable that you have knowledge and ability to understand international trade regulations and laws
• You are good at communicating and make decisions to actions
• High ability to work independently but also as part of a team
