Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Functional Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Collaborate with engineers to interpret and address risk analyses, ensuring comprehensive safety measures.
• Propose and select components that meet stringent safety requirements to ensure system reliability.
• Conduct MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) calculations to validate product reliability and performance.
• Write detailed instructions and safety documentation to support safety processes and compliance.
• Investigate and resolve safety-related issues independently, ensuring adherence to safety standards.

What you bring:

• Proven experience in functional safety, ideally within the heavy vehicle industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the ISO 26262 standard and its application in safety-critical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate safety activities, ensuring effective implementation of safety measures.
• Strong analytical skills, with the capability to assess and mitigate safety risks.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, facilitating effective collaboration and documentation.
