As a Kitchen Production Specialist, you will have extensive knowledge of food safety, and through your dedication and daily example, you will coach others and challenge existing work methods. In this role, you will interact with many different people. With your strong sense of customer service and interaction, you are ready to take care of our guests in the best way possible. Your ability to communicate in a simple, clear and honest way will be greatly beneficial in building trustworthy relationships with your colleagues, managers, external partners, and suppliers. Your Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Production Specialist, you will meet and look after our guests in the restaurant, bistro, and café. Part of your work time will be dedicated to specialist tasks where your main responsibility is to ensure food safety at IKEA Barkarby, including both food handling and equipment. This involves creating and spreading engagement and knowledge about food safety among your colleagues, as well as documenting and following up to ensure we adhere to IKEA standards and food safety regulations. The work also includes developing effective action plans to prevent potential risks in the workplace. In this role, you will have the opportunity to coach, provide feedback, and challenge colleagues and managers regarding food safety. You will conduct internal and external audits and build strong collaborations with many contacts both within IKEA and externally.


About This Role

To be considered for the position, you should share IKEA's values and see yourself growing as a leader/specialist at IKEA in the future. You have experience from working in a hotel and restaurant business, and it is highly advantageous if you have worked with food safety at IKEA or another company. Experience in leading others is a plus. You should have good computer skills and be comfortable working with Excel.

The position we offer is a permanent full-time contract of 38.25 hours per week at IKEA Svenska Försäljnings AB with location Barkarby. Start date upon agreement. Your working hours are scheduled both day and evening shifts, weekdays and every third weekend. We offer you the security of a fixed monthly salary.
