Job Summary

Business stream Prepared Food and Plant Based within Liquid Food Solutions in Tetra Pak is looking for a person taking on a role as Food Technology Specialist. This role will be instrumental to link the behaviour and quality of the produced products to the value proposition of our line solutions.

We are looking for an experienced professional who will support commercial opportunities and development activities with application knowledge within Prepared Food. The range of applications will be very wide, but commonly linked by higher viscosities and rheological changes during processing. Therefore, knowledge about different rheological behaviours of foods, and how they are influenced by processing and ingredients will be key to succeed in this role. Experience within the area of condiment sauces and dressings will be an advantage.

In your position as Food Technology Specialist, you will together with our existing prepared food technologist team be a key person in the global organization, driving technology and knowledge development, supporting sales and order fulfilment both within the Business Stream and to our markets and customers.

This is a permanent position. You can expect to travel up to 20-25% of your working time. The location of the position is in Lund.

What you will do

As our Food Technology Specialist, you will:

• Support customers with food technology expertise, trouble shooting and audits of their production facilities
• Drive prepared food application and technology development through technology scouting, and as requester and participant in Tetra Pak technology development projects
• Take the role as trial leader in customer and internal trials in our Processing Development Centre.
• Train and drive the competence development of our global organization within the area of food and processing technology
• Support sales team and line solution managers with food technology expertise and product knowledge to provide best practice production solutions

We believe you have

• A masters degree in Food Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with processing of liquid foods
• Experience of prepared food applications
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
