Responsibilities:
• Inspect and modify control cabinets of manufacturing equipment, both power and control circuits and wires, to ensure they are in good working condition and following the correct standards.
• Being able to install and configure sensors, motors and other electrical devices in machinery for internal projects.
• Troubleshoot and update wiring and connections of commissioning and production equipment.
• Being able to read and follow an Electrical Diagram.
• Being able to diagnostic and troubleshoot problems with earthing, short circuits, wrong cabling etc.
• Collaborate with equipment supplier's factory acceptance tests (FAT), installation supervision, commissioning, and site acceptance tests (SAT).
• Provide hands-on technical support for production and commissioning equipment.
Qualification:
• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent. On-the-job qualifications is also accepted as long as you have a track record.
• Experience in the design and inspection of electrical systems, control cabinets, and safety circuits.
• Solid understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and strong technical knowledge of electrical components.
• Proficient in using electrical hand tools, as well as diagnostic equipment. Strong knowledge of using digital multimeter and insulation tester.
• Experience of electrical systems verifications such as insulation resistance tests, functional tests, grounding tests, EMC tests.
• High computer literacy (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
• Hands-on experience with production equipment.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus Points:
• Certification or licensing in the electrical field.
• Wiring/Panel builder certification.
• Work experience in a multi-cultural workplace and manufacturing industry.
• Work experience in a machinery integrator or OEM.
• Experience working with industrial safety equipment and systems.
• Experience with 60204 electrical compliance tests (bonding, voltage, insulation, protection against residual voltage, functional tests etc.).
