Responsibilities

As System Safety Engineer , you will work within our System Safety team. The main objective is to contribute to the development and deliveries of safe products and services to our customers. The activities cover the complete development cycle, for example, functional safety impact analysis, hazard analysis and risk assessment, functional and technical safety concepts, validation and verification, safety case, system safety joint reviews with suppliers and verification reviews. Note that the position may require travelling (several times per year) to China. Examples of major tasks/activities:

• Perform verification and confirmation reviews of functional safety work products.
• Develop Safety Case in compliance with ISO 26262 in vehicle projects.
• Support System Safety Joint Reviews with suppliers in vehicle projects.
• Support in carrying our safety analyses and developing functional safety work products
• Contribute to system/functional safety planning and management in vehicle projects.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of process, guideline and templates

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent area.
• Good knowledge about relevant best practices and standards (for example, ISO 26262).
• Knowledge about automotive electrical system, architecture and software.
