Job Description

Bonmoja is looking for an experienced community manager with good knowledge of social content creation, community management and strong reporting skills. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and growing communities across different online platforms. This opportunity represents full autonomy over the communities of our African operator partners. The role offers plenty of freedom to get things done and bring in results.

Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Work with social media managers, the creative team, CS and marketing department to deliver a community growth strategy, manage its implementation and achieve growth.

  • Supervise and evaluate the impact of community programs and player sentiment.

  • Engage directly in key topics of conversation with the community, collaborators and brand ambassadors.

  • Represent a knowledge base on the gaming landscape, players and competitors in Africa. In addition, you must be willing to develop a deep understanding of the Bonmoja's platform and their customers' games and products.

  • Be a champion and an internal advocate for our player communities in assessing message priority, risk and cultural feedback.

  • Employ creative ways to improve key community relationships; share and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support brand objectives.

  • Embody a “player first” mentality, the player values, and the values of Bonmoja and Bonmoja's clientsin all interactions. Act as a representative of Bonmoja and Bonmoja's clients in online channels and communities.

Profile

  • Strong communication skills and passion for collaboration.

  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of local languages in Africa is a plus.

  • Ability to deliver high quality work while managing multiple projects.

  • Experience in managing groups on Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram or other platforms.

  • Knowledge of Bonmoja's platform, games and products, with a focus on casino games.

  • Deep understanding of social media channels and local gaming communities.

  • A genuine passion for online gaming and technology.
