Your mission

In this position, you’re an important member of the Rock Tools management team, and you’re responsible for accelerating growth by aggressively increasing our market share and staying two steps ahead of our competition. You develop and drive our Service offering and digital service strategy – including tools and systems – and you define the enhancement and roll-out of existing services, as well as launching new ones. Your responsibility also includes our important work within sustainability – you define and lead the work and champion sustainability throughout our division, playing a key part in making it a competitive advantage for us.

You’re recognized as a promoter of strong partnerships, and you actively collaborate with other divisions, product lines and our customers to meet future needs, ensure value selling and establish forums for training and knowledge sharing. In addition, you’re responsible for the Rock Tools contract business, and you work closely with the sales teams in our regions to develop improvement plans and increase understanding of this area from a financial, commercial and operational point of view.

You report to the President of Rock Tools and are located at our main site and head office in Sandviken, Sweden. Global travel is included as a natural part of your job.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in the mining industry and the areas of sales or product management. You have a successful track record from leadership positions where your people management skills have made a true difference. Being skilled in performance management and organizational development, you know how to successfully drive change and find new solutions in a global arena. Your knowledge is grounded in an engineering degree. This role calls for fluency in English.
