As part of a high-profile Centre of Excellence project, our team is receiving significant attention and support from senior management and as part of this team you'll be at the forefront of shaping the future ways of working in the management of Vattenfall’s contingent workforce.


About the position

As the Manager of the Plan & Support team in the External Workforce department in People & Culture at Vattenfall, a crucial leadership role, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting a diverse team of experts who provides the fundamentals needed for the operational hiring of consultants by the hour across multiple regions. The focus is on leading, coaching, and empowering the team to ensure high performance and compliance. You will also be responsible of building and maintaining a strong relationship with key stakeholders and enhance the team's reputation within the organization.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of experts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including expert functions withing HR, Legal, IT and finance, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Ensure adherence of external workforce processes, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate individuals, team & supplier performance, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Brand Building and Advocacy: Act as an ambassador for the External Workforce team, advocating for the team’s value and contributions within the organization and ensuring a positive brand image.
  • Industry Standards & Best Practices: Be up to date and curious on trends within the industry and bring learnings in-house


Qualifications

  • Educational Background: University degree (preferably in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline).
  • Work Experience: At least 10 years of working experience of which at least 3 years within contingent workforce, with proven experience in leadership roles.
  • Skills and Competencies: Demonstrated ability to lead and coach diverse teams, strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a strategic mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
