We are looking for a Global Category Manager for High Voltage Products. In this role within the Supply Chain Management (SCM), you will lead the development, planning, and implementation of the global category strategy with a focus on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. Additionally, you will integrate SCM into the value chain, managing supplier relationships, and providing market information for strategic decision making in addition to competitive sourcing.

Your responsibility

• Implements effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy ensuring that the supply base have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
• Manages supplier forecasting, cost budgets, and savings forecasts, minimizes risk regarding quality and financial exposure by defining the supply base in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with company guidelines.
• Negotiates global agreements with suppliers, and when applicable renews price lists, terms and conditions along with that designs and implements cost out programs and/or processes to reach financial targets.
• Conduct benchmark studies for the category team and for specific sourcing initiatives including but not limited to cost baseline, should cost modeling and global price database.
• Effectively communicate and align with stakeholders on your category strategy and initiatives progress, ensuring that all relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly.
• Define process governance where applicable and charge the project sourcing strategy with procurement members and handle team members with or without being disciplinary head of the team.

Your background

• You have a Master’s or bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Proven professional experience in a supply chain function and in a project environment and work experience with High Voltage Products.
• Good communication and networking skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial attitude with you are a team player, driven, structured and have a result oriented mindset.
• Technical interest and ability to solve complex problems independently.
• Fluency in English mandatory and other languages are meritorious.
