We are now looking for a collaborative and business oriented Global Manager for our Business Unit (BU) Heating Materials.

About the Role

BU Heating Materials is a material provider focusing on heating alloys for industrial, appliance and thermocouple applications. We focus on specific technologies and capabilities to match individual customer needs. In this position, you collaborate broadly with all parts of the organization, including the global sales organization and its three Production Units - located in Sweden, USA and India - to create true value and enhance the business further. Additionally, the BU’s purchasing organization reports to you.

You are responsible for developing and executing the BU:s financial activities, with full P&L and balance sheet responsibility. This includes driving and understanding all aspects of financial performance, i.e. results, trends, and forecasting, as well as reporting results in a transparent and accurate way. With a keen interest in our operations, and close collaboration and relationships with key stakeholders within the business, you identify and act on improvement potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Provide insightful financial analysis and advisory to support strategic decisions and enhance the operations and value creation
• Drive and develop our financial roadmap for continuous improvements within the financial area

The role reports to and collaborates closely with the President of the BU and the finance community within Kanthal. You will also be a member of the BU management team.

The location for the position is preferably Hallstahammar. Sandviken or Stockholm are also possible locations but will require frequent travelling to Kanthal’s head quarter in Hallstahammar. The position also includes some international travelling to our other units.

About You

We believe you are a senior Business Controller as well as a leader with strong collaboration skills. With solid experience from various global organizations in the manufacturing industry and the drive and know-how to shape financial processes you will make a difference for us. Experience from result consolidation, pricing and product profitability analysis is extra advantageous. You enjoy and have a successful track record of taking overall ownership of business control in a financially complex setting.

Along with your drive for analysis, problem solving and accuracy, you’re guided by integrity and empathy, as well as a genuine desire to create team spirit, inspire people and support others to grow. You build trust in your relations and leave a positive impact, and you challenge us to always look at new perspectives and become even better at what we do. Additionally, you have the ability to explain and present complexities in an easy to understand way.
