About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer with experience in Desktop Support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure providing support to end-users and maintaining system integrity. You will provide support for the desktop environment including responsibility for deployment of Desktop/Laptop and when applicable physical server/network equipment installation, configuration, application installation, troubleshooting, incident and request handling

This role is crucial for maintaining productivity and efficiency within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop support to end-users ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop systems and software.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests resolutions and system changes.
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new technologies and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services and support processes.

Qualifications

  • Possess an understanding of desktop support and remote troubleshooting techniques.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in installing configuring and maintaining desktop systems and software.
  • Exhibit problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and support end-users.
  • Be familiar with IT policies procedures and industry regulations.
  • Fluent in Swedish
