Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct inspections at Siemens Energy and various supplier locations.
• Follow up on inspection results and contribute to the resolution of any outstanding issues.
• Actively participate in project meetings, providing quality insights.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to support project goals.
• If required, take on the role of Project Supplier Quality Manager (PSQM), overseeing supplier quality management.

Location & Travel Requirements:

• Primary work location is Finspång, Sweden.
• The position requires frequent travel within Sweden and across Europe, accounting for approximately 30-40% of the assignment's time.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who combines technical expertise with strong communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering and a proven track record in quality inspections.

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Strong organizational abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or substantial work experience in the inspection field.
• Knowledge of PED, ASME, and/or structural design standards.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks and a solid understanding of MS Office applications.

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Certifications related to PED, ASME, AWS, etc.
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering and equipment.
• Experience with SAP, PLM2020, or similar systems is an advantage.
