HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures, and sells DC transmission systems on a global market.
HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables.
It is also used to connect power systems.
You will be part of HVDC Service in Ludvika.
The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit electrical power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems as well as to interconnect ac networks asynchronously to achieve optimized operation.
HVDC Service is growing; the position as Manager Order Management is a new position!
Today it is an experienced team where growth, both for individuals and the team, will be a part of your responsibility.
Your responsibilities
- The Order Management department within HVDC Service Operations deals with order handling for service projects.
- As manager of the department, you will be responsible for operational & strategic development of the functions, guidance, coaching and development of the staff.
- You will be living Hitachi Energys’ core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
- First and foremost, you are a confident leader with the ability to strike a balance between strategic, tactical and operational tasks to ensure that they are in line with our business’s local and global priorities.
- You have good collaborative and communicative skills and thrive in a multi-cultural environment.
- You have capability to inspire and support your team to achieve high performance.
- You hold Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in SCM or other relevant area.
- You have a minimum 7 years’ experience from relevant sector/industry, out of which a minimum of two years as line or project manager.
- Well experienced user in SAP and/or Supply Chain Management is crucial to be successful in this position and therefor a requirement.
- You should be fluent in both Swedish and English
- written and spoken.
