The Position As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer within the Connectivity Technology stream, you will be part of building a global on-board connectivity platform utilized by the brands within Volvo Group. Within Connectivity Technology, our main responsibility is to develop and maintain large solution level enablers for digital services. As a senior cybersecurity engineer your key role will be to manage the cybersecurity-related risks of ICT (Information and Communications Technology) infrastructures, systems, and services by planning, applying, reporting, and communicating risk analysis, assessment, and treatment. Establishing a risk management strategy for the organization and ensuring that risks remain at an acceptable level for the organization by selecting mitigation actions and controls.   As an employer we value kindness and inclusiveness. We aim to build a work environment built on mutual trust. Your Work   You will follow an established ISO21434 based product cybersecurity management system. You will work with other cybersecurity engineers within your team and within the larger community of practice. Our design teams are cross functional and include system architects, system engineers, verification architects as well as other ad-hoc members as required for the task at hand.    We also support our Agile Release Trains with cybersecurity engineering throughout the product lifecycle (i.e., during implementation, verification, validation, and maintenance). On top of this, we also work to develop the internal processes necessary for effective cyber security management and act as a knowledge center for cyber security within BASC.    Responsibilities   Perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment on products (i.e., performing TARA work)   Identify new problem areas to be addressed.   Theoretically evaluate security control effectiveness   Demonstrate risk trend over time   Report on risk reduction over time.   Engage with Risk owners   Identify Cyber Security goals   Cybersecurity Risk Mitigation/Remediation Action Plan   Main tasks Develop an organization’s cybersecurity risk management strategy.   Manage an inventory of organization’s assets.   Identify and assess cybersecurity-related threats and vulnerabilities of ICT systems.   Identification of threat landscape including attackers’ profiles and estimation of attacks’ potential   Monitor effectiveness of cybersecurity controls and risk levels   Ensure that all cybersecurity risks remain at an acceptable level for the organization’s assets.   Develop, maintain, report, and communicate complete risk management cycle. Qualifications and requirements  We believe you have experience with:  A university degree as the basis for your career.   At least 5 years of automotive experience of on-board connectivity-based features. Implementing cybersecurity risk management frameworks, methodologies and   Guidelines and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.   Analyzing and consolidating organization’s quality and risk management practices.   Enabling business assets owners, executives, and other stakeholders to make risk informed.   Making decisions to manage and mitigate risks.   Building a cybersecurity risk-aware environment.   Communicating, presenting and reporting to relevant stakeholders.   Proposing and managing risk-sharing options.   Fluency in English both in business and privately as well as in speaking and writing.   Curious and want to know more about the role?
