Your mission

In this position, you will be an integral part of the Kanthal Heating Materials organization and will support the business unit teams on research, new product development, business development, product life cycle management, product launches, and sales opportunities. It is an exciting and strategically essential opportunity to direct and develop the portfolio into new growing segments on a global level. This will require an entrepreneurial mindset, business acumen, strategic approach and a drive to follow through.

Close cross-functional collaboration within the overall Heating Materials group and Research and Development is required. You will be responsible for the development of the global product plans, marketing strategy, price strategy, market positioning, and other related activities. You will be one of three Global Product Managers in the BU and work closely together with team members in the global sales organization

This position will report directly to the Global Sales Director, Business Unit Heating Materials. International travel is required, around 25%


Your profile

We are looking for someone with a master's or bachelor's degree in Product Management/Marketing or Engineering combined 4-7 years of relevant experience in a technical commercial product management role, sales management or strategy function.

You should have a strong technical background as well as good insight in commercial processes and industrial manufacturing. Experience in Industrial heat processing or electrical engineering is advantageous. Customer and business-related network are advantageous. This role requires strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Your working style is based on creating trust through communication and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence & interact effectively with all levels of organization. You have excellent Project Management and Analytical skills with a strong attention to details. You should have the ability to work through cross-functional teams without formal reporting line.
