Job description

The Automotive Functional Safety Manager is responsible for functional safety across product development and research. Depending on customer and assignment you may work with development processes, safety management, safety analysis and design, verification and validation or confirmation measures, with the common goal of delivering safe products.

Responsibilities

• Work with development processes and their compliance to applicable safety standards
• Plan, support and monitor safety activities and compile their results in a safety case
• Perform safety analyses and system design, develop safety concepts and write safety requirements
• Develop verification and validation strategies
• Negotiate development interface agreements and perform supplier reviews
• Perform safety reviews, audits and assessments

Qualifications & Experience:

• MSc degree in electrical/electronics or similar.
• 8+ years of professional experience within automotive development
• Ability to analyze and develop complex systems
• Profound knowledge and experience in applying quality and safety standards such as ASPICE and ISO26262
• Experience in driver assistance or automated driving systems
