Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Distribution System Specialist to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Manage the electrical distribution system as part of a comprehensive electrification project.
• Ensure seamless connection of the electrical distribution system to the external grid network.
• Design and oversee internal HV/MV electrical distribution systems up to the take-over points for power supply and plant area distribution.
• Implement and manage electrical compensation systems such as Statcoms, SVCs, and filters.
• Develop and maintain the LV distribution system to service various systems within the facility.
• Coordinate emergency power supply systems, including emergency diesel generators.
• Manage EMC coordination and secondary earthing systems within the designated area of responsibility.

Main Accountabilities:

• Lead project management efforts for the plant’s electrical distribution system, ensuring timely, within budget, and scope delivery.
• Plan and execute work within defined responsibilities, managing projects independently or as part of larger electrification initiatives.
• Prepare budget estimates related to electrical distribution systems and support the Section Project Manager in financial tracking and forecasting throughout project phases.
• Ensure compliance of electrical distribution systems with electrification standards.
• Support procurement activities and collaborate with the Section Project Manager in negotiating contracts with equipment, installation, and service contractors/vendors.

What you bring:

• Proven track record in managing brownfield and greenfield Capex projects involving plant equipment and facilities (Level 0-3).
• Deep knowledge and experience in project management methodologies; official project management certification is advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills to successfully deliver subprojects from initiation to completion.
• Ability to coordinate internal and external teams and engineering efforts effectively.
• Capability to undertake projects across Scandinavia, with willingness to travel to northern Sweden as required.
• Experience in specific equipment areas related to electrical distribution systems is beneficial.
