We are cReal, a young, innovative start-up foodtech company with a strong passion and love for the mighty, sustainable oat. cReal is a business-to-business supplier of tasty, nutritious and sustainable oat based ingredient solutions for the food industry. cReal has developed proprietary knowledge and technology during over 30 years of research and development. Our process is uniquely gentle and solely based on oat and water which enables food applications of unique quality, functionality and clean label features – all sustainable and plant-based. Right now we are expanding and have started construction of our first commercial scale factory in Bjuv.

Your role at cReal

Being a start-up, this role thrives in an ever-changing work environment with a broad set of tasks through a hands-on style and passion for production with a capital P. You love impact and have a can-do attitude no matter the challenge. The tasks include but are not limited to:

· Production: Oversee, participate and ensure efficient, on-schedule production.

· Quality: Implement and maintain quality standards; resolve issues with the SHEQ team.

· Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and lead safety initiatives.

· Planning & Optimisation: Develop strategies to improve efficiency and support green leadership.

· Resources: Optimize use of materials, equipment, and people.

· Documentation: Keep accurate production records and report performance.

· Team Leadership: Lead and train the production team; fostering a positive work environment focused on safety, quality and customer-first mindset.

· Collaboration: Be a team-player and help cReal Food success as a whole across functions.

As a growing company the right candidate will have ample opportunity to impact and shape the role.

The ideal candidate has:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., HACCP, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are advantageous.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production management role within the food manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on food ingredients.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced production environment and be a cultural ambassador fostering a positive work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing production issues.
• Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
• Entrepreneurial personality and can-do attitude in a changing and often challenging start-up environment.

And

• Several years of experience with liquid process lines and drying and milling of powder ingredients is an advantage.
• Deep knowledge with drying technologies such as air drying and contact drying is an advantage.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations, food safety certifications and manufacturing processes/practices is an advantage.

Location and requirements:

Placement of employment is primarily in Bjuv (Factory) and secondary in Höganäs (pilot facility). Travel may occur.

Residency in Sweden with a valid work permit is a requirement.
