We are now looking for a manager to lead the Global Product Support team at HVDC in Sweden. This role is located under the Products Product Management Team.

The past years Products Manufacturing has grown from one manufacturing site to multiple sites. The organization is scaling, both in manufacturing and engineering and the growth will continue. A unified product and production portfolio is needed and a new organization, GPS, Global Product Support will be established to cover the need.

The Global Product Support will be responsible for maintaining the Product and Production Portfolio Master Data. The scope covers Converter Valves for HVDC, SVC and DOIT applications all over the world.

Your responsibilities

• Manager of the GPS department
• Defines and continuously improves GPS processes and facilitates the implementation globally, including Transfer of Product from R&D and between factories
• Lead and promote the implementation of Transformation Strategy such as the PLM program to ensure quality of the Product and Production Master Data
• Defines Global footprint Strategy
• Facilitates the collaboration and information flow across various products/platforms within Products

Your background

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent work experience
• You are open minded and eager to develop a new department, yourself and your team
• As a leader you are inspirational and help your team to translate visions and strategies into meaningful work
• You are structured and eager to lead transformation
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is considered as a plus
