For our client we are now looking for a Calibration engineer who has the ability to calibrate, tune and test Thermal Control functions. In this role you will use standard industry tools such as INCA. We are looking for YOU who has experience in testing activities performed, in a vehicle environment, so hands on experience will be very welcome. Experience with function development in Simulink is highly desirable – the SW is developed using Model Based SW development techniques in Simulink. Here you will also get a chance to go out on expeditions and really test in vehicles at different test tracks. Main responsibilities • In-vehicle Testing, calibration and verification of thermal control functions using standard • industry tools such as INCA and CANalyzer • Model based software implementation of Thermal Control software using Simulink • Participate in the cross functional system work • Deliver Simulink models • Validation and verification activities Requirements • Several years of experience working in the automotive industry • Calibration experience using INCA. • Testing experience using industry standard tools e.g. Vector CANalyzer • Driver’s License B - as testing is required in a vehicle environment. Other requirements below are highly desired as well: • Diagnostics experience particularly in a development capacity; developed or experienced with • diagnostics in a modelling environment, not just using diagnostics tools desirable. • Function development in Simulink – Thermal and/or climate experience is highly desirable • System development lifecycle experience • SW development lifecycle experience • Data analysis using Python is desirable. The team You will be joining a Cross functional team consisting of existing highly experienced thermal controls engineers that can provide guidance, coaching and support. The team work closely together to develop and test code. The ideal candidate will have the desire to wear “multiple hats”; from system work, developing to testing in vehicle to help the team with fault finding.
