Join us and make a difference!  This is us, your new colleagues.  We are the Safety, Quality and regulation’s function and we ensure the Electromobility ate quality, safety and technical compliant. We actively engage in regulatory and standardization activities and are responsible for all audits. Key activities is to be Electromobility’s interphase in legal and compliance forums.   What will you do?  You will identify, monitor, influence, and inform about Energy Storage Systems regulations within your areas. Networking within Volvo trucks and with regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders to derive a comprehensive understanding of technologies and regulatory developments of concern. Building strong network and cooperate with others, understand what we want to achieve and navigate towards compliance. Guiding organization in strategic and technical issues related to your area. Contribute to regulations development when necessary.  Who are you?  We believe that to be successful in this position, you are a team player with strong networking and communication skills. Someone who keep themselves and their team updated about the regulations and standards. You have an analytical and innovative mindset that can interpret rules and ensure implementation with a can-do attitude. You can draw conclusions from available information and take an advisory role in your area of specialization. You easily grasp the future changes in regulation and interpret their impact on our product designs, systems, and components.  To succeed in this role, you need:  * Master's in Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent with a combination of master's in Business Analytics or relevant regulatory areas.  *  Minimum five years of experience in legalization and standard analysis of electric propulsion within automotive industry.  * Minimum two years of experience in EU legislations applicable for batteries.  * Knowledge of vehicle development process and battery design. *  Experience in type approval certification and compliance for components/systems/vehicles.  * Read and interpret regulations to support breakdown to technical requirements.  * Experience in high-voltage battery development.  * Experience in product development in automotive industry.  Meritorious, if you are familiar with:  * Experience in working with ISO/IEC standard working groups.  * Experience from commercial vehicles industry  We value your data privacy and therefore do not accept applications via mail.
