Position Summary:

As an Equipment Engineer your role would include performing preventive and corrective maintenance on fab equipment as well as monitoring and analyzing all related tool data, make recommendations and improvements to equipment maintenance procedures and documents.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fab equipment.
  • Monitor and analyze all related tool data, make recommendations and update equipment maintenance procedures and documents.
  • Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive equipment failures.
  • Work with other engineers to design and execute equipment improvements projects and create BKMS and red line work instructions.
  • Able to clearly communicate machine status verbally in daily pass-down meetings.
  • Able to provide clear written communication to engineers and technicians on other shifts. Equipment maintenance procedures and documents.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering or similar experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability, project management skills, and knowledge of SPC in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electronic skills.
  • Able to interpret electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
  • Prior experience on the following toolsets are preferred, but not required: Nanotronics, Rigaku XRD measurement, Candela, Acid benches, Veeco MOCVD, and Aixtron MOCVD.
