Our current R&D Manager for Europe is heading to the US, and we need a dynamic and driven successor! If you're ready to play a pivotal role in pushing the boundaries of lift technology, this is your chance. You'll lead two engineering teams located in Gävle and Gdansk, delivering top-notch products that set industry standards. Your mission: lead product development, implement engineering changes, optimize systems and processes, and ensure seamless integration across locations. You'll be the catalyst that unites our efforts and drives collaboration with cross-functional teams and global R&D units. With your leadership and keen eye for technology trends, you will steer our R&D teams to ensure our products are always ahead and setting new industry benchmarks. You'll manage the construction process, support new product launches as well as develop a technical roadmap and ensure regulatory compliance. You'll own our R&D systems such as PDM and PLM, keeping them efficient and up to date while managing KPIs, budgets and keeping everyone informed. You'll be based in Gävle or Gdansk, with monthly trips between the teams. You will report to our Director of Product Management & Sustainability. Alongside your R&D manager colleagues in China and the US, you'll be a key member of the R&D management team as well as a member of the factory management team in Gävle. About You: You are a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational, collaboration and communication skills. As an innovator at heart, you always improve processes and systems. You hold a degree in engineering or a related field. You have a few years' experience in product development, project management and a few years' practical experience in R&D processes, system optimization, product development management, machine design and automation/electrical engineering. You are familiar with CAD models, drawings, and product data management. Bonus points if you are certified in Product Management, Lean Six Sigma, Project Management or ScrumMaster.
