Your future
We are looking for our next Embedded Software Developer to join our product development team withinBuilding & Infrastructure Control Systems. In this role, you will take on senior responsibilities and be accountable for new development projects as well as maintenance assignments on system level, e.g. drawing up requirement specifications, pre-studies, proposals, system design, system testing (QA) and acceptance test. You will also plan and execute product/project plans and drive process improvements.
You will focus extensively on systematic quality assurance, driving efforts to adopt a broader and more automated approach, including more comprehensive unit tests and wider coverage for various types of system tests.
An important part of our approach to product development is having a deep understanding of our customers' challenges and closely understanding the environment in which our products are used. As a senior developer, we expect you to be driven by a desire to understand the building automation industry, lead technical customer dialogues, and hold seminars and external presentations. It's also important that you are comfortable navigating autonomously in vague and unfamiliar environments while being a solid and central team player who can support junior colleagues.
As part of maintaining a close dialogue with our customers and partners, we expect you to participate in trade shows and engineering meet-ups around the world approximately 2-3 times per year.
